The Stevenson Summer Camp is a 5 week day and resident camp for students ages 10-15. Students attending our camp represent many different areas of the country and the world including such far away places as Korean, Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong and Germany. This creates a wonderful diversity of experiences for our campers.
Campers participate in morning workshops which are designed to be both enriching and purposeful. The goal of each workshop is to reinforce topics learned during the school year and complement them with a variety of activities. Workshops include Math Skills, Prep English, Filmmaking, Photography, Ceramics, Wilderness, Spanish, Japanese, Knitting, Newspaper, Digital Yearbook, Strategy Games and many more.
Afternoons are dedicated to sports instruction and team sports. Campers participate in individual sports instruction including Golf, Tennis, Swimming, Water Polo, Lacrosse, Basketball, Yoga, Field Sports, Frisbee Games, Archery and many more.
Resident campers have the added opportunity to do evening activities and a weekend backpacking program. Living and sharing space is often the most exciting and enriching aspect to our camp. This is when campers can forge lifelong friendships with people from all over the world.
