Founded in 1943, Ojai Valley School summer programs, located 40 minutes from Santa Barbara near the Pacific Ocean and Los Padres National forest, provides a sleep-away camp and day camp for students ages 8-18. The Summer School and Camp provides morning classes for review or enrichment. Classes such as study skills, Math, English, Science, Art and Computers are available. The high school program offers several classes for credit or enrichment, including SAT preparation and Applying for College. International students may take ESL and TOEFL preparation.

Campers choose from several afternoon activities including sports, swimming, archery, horseback riding, photography, woodshop, art, ceramics, and more traditional activities. Evening activities, weekend outings, hiking and overnight campouts round out the program.

Campers may also join the Southern California Theme Park tour following the Summer Camp from July 31 - August 6.

The Equestrian Camp provides equestrian training and competitive riding for campers. Competitive riders will attend horse shows.

The English Language Camp provides intensive English instruction in writing, grammar, reading, and conversation for international students.
