Located in the Beautiful Monterey Bay Area of California 80 miles south of San Francisco, Monte Vista was founded in 1926 as a non-denominational college preparatory resident and day Christian high school. Monte Vista's program includes: AP and Honors courses, award winning choral groups, a dynamic music program, drama and visual arts, a competitive interscholastic athletic program (over 13 varsity sports), an equestrian program, and a place you will feel like family. At MVCS students are challenged to think independently, tp develop problem solving and critical thinking skills, and to strive towards excellence in all their endeavors.
