The Athenian School provides a distinctively engaging, interdisciplinary and international education. Located 32 miles east of San Francisco at the base of Mt. Diablo, Athenian prepares a diverse community of domestic and international students for the rigors of college and for lives of meaning and purpose. Broadening students perspectives on themselves and the world, Athenian's programs include: the Athenian Wilderness Experience, community service, town hall meetings, outdoor education, and international exchange. Average class size is 15. Nearly 100% of our graduates gain admission to an outstanding array of four-year colleges and universities.
