Army and Navy Academy

http://www.armyandnavyacademy.org

The Academy is an internationally recognized college-preparatory school for boys, grades 7-12 that follows University of California standards and incorporates leadership training centered around its Army JROTC program.

Since 1910, Army and Navy Academy has sought to develop scholarship and honorable character in young men. Our cadets develop internal self-government and benefit from having a greater degree of structure, motivation and discipline in their daily routine.

One of our core competencies is the academic achievement of our students.  On a regular basis, we see students improve their G.P.A., often within the first semester of attendance.  Small class sizes, a highly committed staff and individualized support enable students to achieve better results and improve their chances for attending a college or university of their choice.

Mandatory JROTC leadership training stresses teamwork, honor, self-esteem, citizenship, study habits, and time management. Band, performing arts, extracurricular clubs, and a full spectrum of interscholastic sports complement the academic program.

Summer Program

Academy by the Sea and Camp Pacific

The Academy by the Sea and Camp Pacific offers a co-educational program on our beautiful oceanfront campus.  The Academy by the Sea offers academic enrichment and credit classes. Camp Pacific offers Surf, ESL and Recreation camps.

Located on the Army and Navy campus, this program does not require uniforms or follow the West Point-style leadership program in the summer.  Students from all over the world attend these programs, with many students returning year after year to connect with their friends.
