1:00 - 3:00pm – SSATB Admission Leadership Council Regional Meeting for WBSA Conference Attendees and Bay Area SSATB Members
The SSAT Board of Directors founded the Admission Leadership Council (ALC) in 2009 to reestablish a more consistent organizational and professional voice for members. The ALC serves as an important sounding board for SSATB for the development of admission services; provides leadership in the area of professional development for admission professionals; and, advocates for the critical role of admission in schools. The ALC's popular regional seminars bring together hundreds of SSATB members to network, learn and collaborate on issues admission professionals are tackling today. Once again WBSA and SSATB are partnering to offer a joint WBSA/Bay Area meeting just prior to WBSA's Opening Reception. Kick off another great WBSA experience with the ALC event conveniently held in the WBSA conference hotel.
Separate RSVP required through SSATB. No cost to attend.
3:30 - 5:00pm – SSAT Training for Local Area Placement Directors SSAT will be hosting a training for local area placement directors immediately following the regional meeting. (This event is not relevant for WBSA member schools, but these placement directors will be invited to our opening reception, which will be a great opportunity to connect with them.)
5:00 - 7:00pm – Conference Opening Reception (cocktails and appetizers) This welcome reception will be a great opportunity to network with other WBSA admission folks as well as the placement directors and local area educational consultants who have been personally invited.
