Verde Valley School IB ceramics students participated in workshop directed by renowned Iranian ceramicist, Firuse Stalcup.
Stalcup presented and directed lessons in working with colored paper clay. She espoused the advantages of self-made paper clay over the store bought variety. Mixing clay, with wet tissue paper, water, and dye, VVS students learned to make their paper clay seeking understand and control the processes at work.
